Teaching 1Stage One Teacher Training CourseA four day course that teaches you the basics of hobby ceramics and how to set up and run a studio or contempory cafe..
You will work on six very different pieces of ceramics. some pieces will be greenware items ( items that have yet to be fired ) others items will be bisque ( these items have been fired in a kiln so are not as delicate to handle)
You will learn several easy painting techniques. That you will be able to pass onto others in a class room or studio as soon as you open your own business.
You will also spend time in the pouring rooms working with molds using the slip machine and generally learn the tricks of the trade while items are in production.
We also build into the four days a section on business management. We will give you ideas about promoting in your area. how to advertise to attract new customers. All about making money from your new hobby.
Rather than base our teacher training on any one product line we would be using several different paint lines and glazes. So you can decide what is best for you to use and which products you find easier to work with. Not all paint products are the same.
Doing this course will help you decide if you want to have a future in the exciting new hobby that is sweeping europe.

This course costs: 240.00 euros per person without accomodation
We can arrange local bed and breakfast accomodation if you require
300.00 euros per person with accomodation
